[LINUX] The game wont start

Hi!
I recently switched to linux and I wanted to play a good old LoG.
But the game won't start from Steam.
I'm running ubuntu 14.10 with gnome3 and when clicking on the game name, a windows sort of flashes up and that's all.
Running the game from the terminal ($ steam -applaunch 207170) it outputs some REALLY useful info...
$ steam -applaunch 207170
Running Steam on ubuntu 14.04 64-bit
STEAM_RUNTIME is enabled automatically

Does anyone else have this problem? Or better, a suggestion or solution ?

Just installed the humblebundle version and tried to run it: same deal.
When running /usr/local/games/Grimrock/Grimrock.bin.x86_64 from the terminal, the output is:
./Grimrock.bin.x86_64: 1: ./Grimrock.bin.x86_64: Syntax error: ")" unexpected

To the Almost Human team:
I don't know if you can fix it or it it's a problem with nvidia, but we have noticed on the steam forum that Legend of Grimrock won't start on several linux distros when using a 9xx series Nvidia GPU.

Also seeing this issue on Ubuntu, the game loads to a segfault.

Any chance of a fix? We tweeted to you from @gamingonlinux and posted in the steam forum, but it seems no one is replying anywhere?

I've just bought the Game on Steam and I'm having the same trouble! Fix this or give me a refund

We are investigating the issue.

My guess is that this is some sort of GLSL shader compilation issue on certain nvidia driver version. Reverting the driver to older version may help.

ahh, shit, sounds like classical linux dependency hell problem.
Is the windows version under Wine working?

sounds more like a Maxwell architecture OpenGL thing to me
