They called this a "Mac beta" the name demo is negotiable.

No this is not negotiable.
A demo or early access title is a product limited in size, features or whatever.
A beta is the full featured product being tested and polished for release.

If they had came out and said this is a full version at full price and then came out and said "special sale 40% off" I wouldn't have an issue.

AH did not need to say anything about the game being "a full version" because it is available as full version since mid october.

But it was beta then full with 40% off. I wasn't waiting for a sale. Like I said I had no problem paying full price for this "beta."

When you had no problem paying full price you would not ask for a refund.

All I'm saying is shouldnt I be rewarded by paying the same price for a "full" not a "beta" version on my specific platform.

Mmmmh, I seem seen that 2.2.4 update will be ( perhaps already ) up for StandAlone version .... yep, but "perhaps" because in the news, you mention 2.1.18 -> 2.2.4 ( I suppose it's only for MAC version ) .... and the last update was 2.1.17.

So, is your patch only for MAC or all version ? and if it's for all StandAlone, why doing it from 2.1.18 ?! ( Yep, already tried and the patch is failing for incorrect Grimrock2.dat version )

2.2.4 is both the latest patch for Windows and the release version for Mac.

wohoo... the patch is available...

Just did some fast performance considerations, can confirm a significant speed up by the CPU load optimizations with patch 2.2.4, nice. see analysis. Also, as described in the change logs, the input lag in low FPS situations seems largely gone. Thanks petri, good work.!
