Does anyone know how to open the door this refers to?
The note is here.
The door I think it applies to is here.
I labeled the buttons here, and I'll just refer to the lever as "lever".
Because of the "pulled the lever repeatedly, leaving it in an upright position" I assume that at one point there are two back-to-back steps consisting of pulling the lever down, and then pulling it up. Because of the "three things" I assumed that it is some order of 2 lever pulls and 1 button, or 1 button and 2 lever pulls.
I've tried all combinations of this, but the door won't open.
Has anyone else had any luck?
So far I've tried (in ALL of the following examples the lever's end position is pointing upwards):
[3]
Lever, Lever, 1
Lever, Lever, 2
1, Lever, Lever
2, Lever, Lever
Lever, 1, Lever
Lever, 2, Lever
[4]
Lever, Lever, 1, 2
Lever, Lever, 2, 1
1, Lever, Lever, 2
2, Lever, Lever, 1
1, 2, Lever, Lever
2, 1, Lever, Lever
Lever, Lever, Lever, Lever
These don't really follow the pattern in the note but they are more that I've tried:
1, Lever, 2, Lever
2, Lever, 1, Lever
Lever, 1, Lever, 2
Lever, 2, Lever, 1
Lever, Lever, Lever, Lever
Lever, Lever, Lever, Lever, 1
Lever, Lever, Lever, Lever, 2
1, Lever, Lever, Lever, Lever, 2
2, Lever, Lever, Lever, Lever, 1
1, Lever, Lever, 2, Lever, Lever
2, Lever, Lever, 1, Lever, Lever
After this the combinations really start to stray from the letter and at 5 combinations the numbers start to get crazy so I haven't really tried any more.
