Re: Post your party here!
My frontline rogue has hit more than 50 evasion at this point and even with only about 40% of the hitpoints, he's still just as durable as my minotaur fighter.
Twin mages might make the game a little bit too easy if you can keep the spells flying fast enough. Will definitely be trying out a more combat heavy build on my hard run through. No magic might also be a good challenge!

Hmmm... Demegon? IS THAT YOU?!littlejediowen wrote:1 Lizardmen Mage

I was gonna stick with an all lizardmen party, but those insectoids (or whatever you call them) are just so cool
Re: Post your party here!
Well, since dex does not do anything to a bow rogue, i am going to restart with:
Human Warrior
Minautor warrior
Minautor rogue
Human/Lizardmen Mage
Human Warrior
Minautor warrior
Minautor rogue
Human/Lizardmen Mage
Re: Post your party here!
I have a Lizardman rogue called Stabbs McKenzie.
I don't need anything else.

Rogue actually holds up just as well as the fighter.earthyearth wrote:2 mages, sounds powerfulPatchumz wrote:Minotaur Fighter, Swords + Armor

So far, working out very well.
how is the rogue holding in front
And yes, 2 mages is VERY powerful, but you need to manage your mana, and don't let anything flank you. And get really fast with casting spells. Double mage requires a lot of skill to pull off, cuz you have to cast spells constantly. (Instead of only one mage, where you cast at your leisure because you have nothing else to do, it takes quite a while to set up multiple spells with 2-4 runes per spell)
Re: Post your party here!
Front row:
Human female rogue (dagger/torch)
Minotaur male fighter (mace/shield)
Back row:
Insectoid mage (earth/fire, 2nd torch)
Lizardman rogue (throw/missile weapons, carries the alchemy supplies)

Re: Post your party here!
Human Fighter: Sword and Armour
Minotaur Fighter: Axe and Armour
Human Rogue: Missile Weapons (Need to restart and redo this character with more Str than Dex)
Insectoid Mage: Fire and Spellcraft (Maybe Earth as well)

Re: Post your party here!
After finding out that Dex doesn't really help a back-row bow user, I started over because I have OCD and wouldn't be able to stand all those wasted points. It was a standard 2 warrior, rogue and mage party, but now I'm trying something a bit more interesting.
One of my fighters is replaced with a Lizard front-row Rogue who is using Unarmed up close, and Throwing Weapons to start fights. I'm trying to make him sort of a monk or ninja.
Heres his starting stats:
Traits: Evasive/Fist Fighter
Attack Power: 10
Accuracy: 5
Evasion: 18
16 STR
14 DEX
12 VIT
9 Will
1 points unarmed, 2point dodge, may put a few into throwing as well.
edit: I actually changed him to human simply because the black-robed human looks more fitting. Result is a bit more evasion and a bit less vitality.
Anyone else using an unarmed character, and how is it going if so?

Insectoid Fighter (Sword+Armor)
Insectoid Rouge (Unarmed+Dodge)
Insectoid Mage (Fire+Spellcraft)
Insectoid Rouge (Missle)
Using Insectoid for it's Food consumption advantage.

I have a front row unarmed rogue, does quite a bit of damage actually. It works out very well.w00tasaurus wrote:After finding out that Dex doesn't really help a back-row bow user, I started over because I have OCD and wouldn't be able to stand all those wasted points.
