Minor potions suggestion
Minor potions suggestion
Hello.
SpoilerShow
I have found out that the bear form potion and the antidote one are almost identical in colour, thus easily mistakeable. Could any one of them be changed to orange or something?

I have bad news: you're colour-blind. The antidote is yellow with blue spots, the bear form potion is green.

Here's a version with the hues shifted so you can (hopefully) see there's a difference:

That said, since colour-blindness exists, it's definitely unfortunate that they went with green/yellow.

lol minmay
Colorblindness aside... just keep the Bear Form potion(s) in a crate or sack, separate from the other "at-the-ready" potions. Tada!!

LOL. I have calibrated my monitor colour. Its colours were somewhat washed out.minmay wrote:I have bad news: you're colour-blind. The antidote is yellow with blue spots, the bear form potion is green.

But still not that much of a difference. Also, I am not running my native LCD resolution.

Re-check with your native resolution. Running non-native resolutions on LCD's causes blurr and when you glance at your potions i.e. during combat i understand that one might mix up Antidote and Bear potion.eLPuSHeR wrote:Also, I am not running my native LCD resolution.
Re: Minor potions suggestion
I cannot because at native resolution, everything is too small. And no, adjusting font and elements size doesn't work properly for all software. A nice example is Steam chat, where you cannot change (easily) font pitch.

Well i know that running the native resolution in LCD's might make everything look "tiny". Yet it's the only way to prevent the display from doing it's otherwise inevitable internal scaling from the incoming non-native resolution picture onto it's pixel matrix.
Out of curiosity: which display is this (model/maker)?

BenQ G2222HDL.
Tried native resolution but I do not like the aspect ratio (16:9) at all. Everything looks too elongated. Currently gaming at 1440x900 instead.

ah it's 21.5 inches for 1080p; i can now imagine what you mean by "everything too small". Good thing i got myself 24 inches for that resolution; never regreted it.
btw the aspect ratio is something one get's used to. When I switched from 4:3 to 16:9 a few years ago it was a quite a change; so much space! Today it has turned around. When i have to use a 4:3 display now i feel literally boxed in

One can always go up a size for their monitor... but once done, it's hard to go back.Dr.Disaster wrote:ah it's 21.5 inches for 1080p; i can now imagine what you mean by "everything too small". Good thing i got myself 24 inches for that resolution; never regreted it.
