Level 4 - Moving teleporters counter clockwise

Ok I must be getting dumber.... I just stared and tried stuff for almost 2 hours and I can't get past this. There is one pressure pad that opens the cell door, however you can't put anything on there as the teleport just goes over it and ports your item (or you) back to the beginning.... you can't get to the door as that's going "against the flow".. you can't get to the middle (to avoid the teleporters) as there is an open pit.. my gut feeling tells me I need to close the pit (from the middle you can avoid the teleporters to get where you want to be) but no button anywhere

Stand in front of the first pad, and look left

Go to the right of the open pit and turn left, throw a rock or something across to the other pressure plate. It will close the pit, you move into the center wait for the telporter to pass then simply go over.

K.... sighs, I even checked for more pressure plates

I seem to be lost on this as well. When I put a rock on the pressure plate the gate opens for a moment but nothing else.

If I go back to the area where the two pits are and press those two buttons (the first next to the first pit which closes the trap doors on the two pits) then go to the second pit and press that button, nothing else happens except a split second later both pits open back up. Nothing I've done so far has closed the pit in the rotating teleporter room at all.

What am I missing?

Edit: Ok, of course 5 minutes after I post this I figure it out. There is a second pressure plate on the floor in the rotating teleporter room on the left side.

This was the first puzzle that made me realise that Almost Human are just as devious at puzzle design as the Dungeon Master devs were fifteen years ago
