You do realize that Leki is doing an outdoor town environment for LOG2 Eleven Warrior? He's probably a little over half way completed from his last post on it. Also Skuggs might be doing a similar thing as well. Perhaps you should PM them to see if it's worth converting the old tileset across. They may already be replicating and/or improving on it saving you the trouble (unless they are saving the tilesets for their mods only -- but that's generally not their style).

Yeah I do realize that Leki is doing a outdoor set and I sort of stopped the Sx Town Set, but you are right I really wanted to pm them, but I thought they might be to busy and I did not want to annoy them. I tried really hard on converting the normal map files over to log 2 but will take a long time and with xmas and working 12 hour shifts ATM it's hard. I will continues the best I can with the conversions. The objects are not hard to port over that's the easy part it's just the textures. Some look ok without fixing them and others look kinda 8 bit graphics lol. I would have to say at least a month to finish the set, sorry about that guys. I really want this set in my mod as well badly ahy.
Ok I will do the right thing and Pm both Leki and Skuggs I really am a big fan of thiers, I love their works and what they have done for the community I will get back to you.

thansk for news. I think you do need not to worry and continue with town conversion. I know Skugg / Leki preparing some buildings, however I do not think they either of them is making city. Has anyone converted the original tilesets? The core temple, prison, and dungeon tilesets? I feel like I read about it earlier, but I can't seem to find anything to that effect. Nice job with the re-textured ones, though!

Hi guys a update on the Sx Town Set. It's coming along quite nice now, just need to learn a few things. Everything is working so far, but lights and particles are funny, still working on them ahy. If you check the posts Blockage Problem, I need some help on things please lol. I have to say thank god AH released the Assets Scripts, a huge help. Ok that's it for now will post when things are finished.

Hi guys well I have completed a demo dungeon for you to look at and tell me what you think. I have got most of the objects to work eg:
Wall Lanterns and pillar lantern, wall fountain with water effect, floor trap etc..
-- Problems ATTM ---
1 - I cannot seem to get the Secret buttons to work maybe someone can and I hope so.
2 - The stairs I have got one set working, but not the best. The indoor stairs I could not get working, I mean the textures and model, which I used the (dark_elf_temple stairs) from this forum.
3 - I have not included a Ceiling shaft yet.
4 - My understanding of creating drawing tiles is bad lol, maybe some else can have a stab at the file (sx_town_tile_set.lua).
5 - I had to use some textures from LOG 1 as the sx set required them, they are in the (textures folder)
6 - I still need to include sounds for the fountain, butt I think there are already water sounds in the editor.
7 - Mysblade had some extra town objects that are part of this set and I will include them soon in the next update. eg walls, people, church, etc...
8 - I want to know if anyone wants me to add farm houses, fences, fence pillar, bed, toilet, more tables and chairs, mine beds, winter village set to this demo?
9 - I had to put (--) in front of the normal textured maps because it will take me to long to convert over. The textures are still in the mod if someone wants to do it.
I think the models look ok ATM lol, have not seen them in the dark....dammm...I forgot that....

- sx_town_wall_lantern has weird particle, I suggest use regular one like it was (similar to torch)
- missing some objects (fireplace, flowers...)
- please make object sx_town_housewall also for 0 elevation (curently it is in height 1 by default so can be used only for two-floor houses)
- perhaps too late, but adding some tag for all sx_town objects could be fine for easy search in editor
I played with it a little and man this tileset is like a one fu*king puzzle Now I remember how many hours I spent editing with it in Log1. Not sure if you saw this tileset in action or if you have Log1, in case you want check here is link.

I do not have any other comments, perhaps just one small request - I do not remember how (if) roof exactly was solved in Log1, however I desperately need some to use it for this tileset. I think just adding regular ceiling (or flooor) object with roof material in certain height will do the job.

I think every modder could add water sound easily just with sound object. I do not think there is ambient sound for stream however, you can add perhaps which was used in log1 (sx_stream)

I think I could use some probably, but not sure if mixing all together is good idea. Maybe in worst each modder could delete what he / she do not want to use...
