I put a dagger in each hand. When I right click either left or right dagger, it attacks with both.
Damage was 9 vs a creature with one dagger, and 13 with 2.
So it looks like its giving 1/2 of your offhand damage, which is a common rpg formula.

The AH Guys confirmed that while you can put a weapon in either hand you can only attack with one at a time, neither effects the other. What I've done with my rogues is the backrow one has ninja stars in one hand and a spear in the other, and the front row guy has a dagger and the compass.

About that compass. Does it serve any real purpose if you use maps in game? If it's a melee rogue, then Assassination is a must, no? Assassination rank 12 allows melee attacks from back row.
In that case evasion is not as useful. Instead what I'd do is to have a throwing weapon in off hand. That way your rogue can contribute to something when the enemy is at range, or when melee range combat is simply too dangerous (i.e. poison cloud monsters).

I haven't seen any spinners yet but there could well be some in there. But yeah the compass is far less useful if you let the PC map for you.RPGAlien wrote:

Maybe you can throw it on a pressure plate behind a pit, if you have no stone or used torch at hand.
But I play without maps at all, and I can assure you, that it is the most valuable item in my inventory.
I will make NO experiments with it.

Well, I guess I'll just give her a shield and boost her evasion even more then.
I understand the "one attack at the time" thing, but I would have had considered giving 1/2 the attack bonus of the off-hand dagger. Oh well! Live and learn.
