when you say earth key you mean essence of earth ? because for each "buddha" statue you need to put the right essence (buddha in the beach level = earth essence, buddha in the swamp = water essence, buddha in the mine level = fire essence and buddha in the canyon level = air essence) each buddha open a door in the castle ( earth buddha opens the castle door, water buddha opens the library door etc.) so if you use gems found in the swamp and lake levels to create essence of fire and open the door of the fire buddha, you can't go there because the door open by water buddha will not open.hansbleeb wrote:the golems in the undermine abys are to hard!! first golum nr one,, and then the 2 brothers!!!!

ok i have now the essence of fire, water and earth placed.. i can not further in the castle, i need a piece of cheese and speed potion ( my alchemist have level 2) and in the canyon i see a passage that is under construction..

p.s. Got through several levels as a level 12 normal farmer, but ended up piking and amping the character, rofl. This mod is a bit unbalanced in parts.. ended up giving my solo Minotaur farmer level20,str60,dex30,vit30,wil30,rage,tough,cooldown_rate*2,all skills etc etc and he still had trouble with the rats at the bottom of the mine, you might need to re-balance it a bit. Its ok for a farmer because I drop killed most stuff, but with 4 normal characters it would be a bit insane in parts (the wolves at the beach and the rats and some bosses require cheating like standing in orul's diagonal square).

Nop, i played with a new party and it's playable (some monster like sand wargs are dangerous but you can handle it), if you play with only one character even if he is level 20,it's normal that it's hard. (ex: skeleton commander in tomb of hellorin "easy" with a party level 6, golem in the lake "easy" with party lvl 7 etc..)Spathi wrote:thx

It's my first mod so yes it's not perfect.

In the library I picked up all the spell scrolls (am I screwed?).. I tried putting them level0 and lower level west and east, like it says.. do they go in separate slots or a specific slot?
p.s. u should change the clue scrolls to wall text... some people are going to move them by mistake.
re difficulty.. its always doable, it is just the amount of climbing on stars and hiding in safe spots and sleeping is extreme.
For hellorin, he is always easy because of the he does nothing if you stand next to him.. with the armor supplied can't do anything which would let him hit 2 or 3 times... so not letting him hit at all,
I still had to hit hellorin many many times (the problem with this is you wake up the next morning with nightmares about straffing in log2).
In log2 I had a large heavy weapons to hit him.. I am starting to realize light weapons always suck, lol, which is why I amped up the character with console.
In log2 by the time you got to the heavy wolves you had good armor or a way to run off and do another level. (that's why Stormbreach is hard to get to)
I have tried a few mods and they all suffer so far compared to log1 mods, and getting the strong impression that the main log2 game is very carefully designed to be entertaining (for example the light bridge near the pyramid allows you to drop stone golems into the water if you have a solo farmer). Maybe the mods forum needs a protection/creature guide. So that armor, weapons, creatures and number of creatures can be balanced. Your mods maps are great though.
That reminds me, the mine also has a key trap that animates 4 or 5 stone golems in a confined space... at that point I just spawned wizards verge, lol. Maybe they can be run past, but no party is going to be able to actually tank that in reed armor. I had crystal gloves, I suppose there was some plate armor I ignored, but I was not trained in it or maybe I did it too early.

only elemental scrolls are useful (fire, air water and earth). you need to find the right combinaison. you're right, i'll change the scrolls by wall text. it's already happen to me to forget where i found a scroll in log2.
