Preventing fall damage

So in my custom dungeon, i have the party falling really long way. like 50 levels

anyone got ideals of how to prevent fall damage or allow the party to absorbs a large hit in the range of 600+ dmg..

Teleporters conserve momentum and pits conserve momentum...

so?

I had several ideas, but the easiest is to place a water tile at the bottom of the pit, with a ladder up ~out of it.

He had posted his question in the Grimrock 1 section. So in LoG1 there are no ladders or water tiles.

@remilafo: If you have made your dungeon for Legend of Grimrock 1 you should try Musabbs or Isaacs solution:

If you have done it for Grimrock 2 then I´m out and you should do it by isaacs way a post over me.
