I'd be willing to try out for coder.

I'm going to be starting a new job soon that will have me working Tues-Fri most of the day, but I can work on it during my days off (but I could get a lot done in that time).
If that's fine with you, shoot me a message on steam. My handle is ninjanerdbgm

I was gonna watch a lets play of Resident evil 2-3 (unfortunately I dont have my playstation 1 anymore to play it again) and get some inspiration about riddles. I remember I spent weeks to solve some - that time I had no internet to check for solutions haha

But yea the mod will have this silent hill / resident evil feel to it.

I added you on steam. and I have a full time job myself so dont worry we are not rushing, also not too much scripting needed at this point, I am just making sure my new models and textures gonna work.
we can discuss the next steps on steam

Thanks guys, also more people can join the team, more than 1 coder etc.. I mean if you feel like you have good ideas, Im open to anything cool

Survival horror is my jam; I have completed six Resident Evil games, nearly every Silent Hill, the Penumbra series, Call of Cthulhu, Pathologic, Scratches, etc.
I'd like to humbly offer my services as part-time level designer/riddle designer. I can't promise a full-time commitment, because I'm making my own game as well, but I'd be really excited to work with a team and make something cool. I love making levels and designing areas but I suck at code! Plus I'm sure I will learn a lot. :geek:

Feel free to PM me or whatever, I check this forum at least once per day.

How big are you planning on the finished mod being? I work full time and was hoping to eventually finish my own mod, but I'm sort of waiting on the asset pack to a do a lot of the coding I need and would like to remain active in the mean-time.

I really like the idea. Maybe you can't use me, but I'd definitely be interested in doing some level design. :D

We all have full time jobs, we just need more people to make the mod more polished.
we are planning to make 1 bigger level and 3 smaller around it

I would do the level designing myself but I realized Im spending all my free time creating custom assets.
Please let let me know your steam acc or skype so I can show you the script.

Interesting, I had idea to make a survival horror type mod too along with a standard style one.

I was thinking one character only, puzzle/exploration focus. You can get more powerful firearms but not enough ammo to kill everything you have to outwit/trap/run from many enemies. Not sure if this is what you had in mind.
