Obviously no, but that kind of achievements you can do in 5 minutes without rerun whole game.
Dr.Disaster wrote:Well that's the point in a challenge. Don't want it? Don't take it.
That's not challange, thats disapointing. That would be challenge if i can do it without that random stuff, but walking whole ruins of desarune for 2 hours and then get "game over" by falling a pit with ratlings, where even invisibility cant help, moreover get broken leg on character without possibility to move, or injured head on mage. My point is that if you can overcome that without knowing the danger that's a challenge, othervise thats stupidity, I mean thats SO FUNNY to remember all encounters in game.

That "pit" has an explicit warning beside it reading "I dare you."

Complaining about it's being too hard to get all achievements in one run is just silly.
Nobody forced you to go Hard Insane Ironman Oldschool on your 1st run.

I'll not change my mind, For me that ruined first impression. For start and end pdrt all ok, but all I can remember from middle part It's many hours of the same coridors and loses by random encounters. So personally I would prefer to not have that achievement.

You wanted everything at once and the game handed it to you. If that's worth a complain you should get your head examined.

Just check this walk through & you will understand what i am talking about.

1st of all what i don't understand or don't like in LoG 2

1] No appropriate difficulty for level's. Normal is also too hard specially for casual gamers. As I am using low health characters in back row elemental enemies like floating ice enemy with ice shard attack is quickly killing my back row characters. I know healing potions are available but ice shards are damaging all four characters so what should we do I mean all 4 characters health & energy is low plus you have to draw proper format to cast a spell plus there are cool downs so how could we manage all this ??
Ok I know there is a way that fight one enemy at a time then that square dance thing but what the use of this kind of battle where you have to fight single single enemy & use save slots after each kill ? so whats the use if your 4 player party can't beat more than 1 enemy at a time ? Enemies is having good amount of health as well attack with speed which making this game unbalanced. Enemies like fly having good amount of health, great damage, speed as well they can make you ill wow.

2] Inventory system.. I don't understand if throwing weapons, bombs, Ingredients, health, energy & other potion are stack on each other then why not food, same type weapons/armor , power gems are not stacking on each other ? as there is already limitation on inventory blocks plus there is a restriction on weight capacity plus player need food after some time, heavy armor weights a lot & after this game is really tough to go with this all unwanted restriction & this is a rpg game so we have to roam same places again & again so we need to keep good amount of food with us but slot, weight restrictions are really making it impossible & no enemies are re-spawning so its really tough.

3] Magic system.. I mean its not hard to memorize spell formats but at the time of battle its really hard to manage all things like health/energy potion, cool downs, enemy move & other things too.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok so my suggestions for LoG 3 is....

1] Please add appropriate level difficulties for chosen difficulty level. Like easy game should be easy.

2] Please stack same type food items, weapons, armor & things or Increase the weight capacity for characters or reduce the weight of items specially heavy armor weight, or add scrollable system for inventory slots so we don't have to use those 3kg wooden box every time.

3] Give facility too add 2 spells in each hand directly like in first hand fireball & shield & in second hand may be light & dark etc. & make it 1step opening only I mean right now when we clicking on 1st hand its opening window by taking both hands space which is really annoying as to get item in second hand we have to 1st close that window. Just add two slots in one hand & two in second. As well I think right now there is no use of staff for maze or wizard so in next game add some benefit like more damage or less energy for casting spells.

4] Add more shortcut keys like for drinking health/energy potion for single & for all character and separate the key for inventory & to select the character as every time I am clicking shortcut key to select specific character its opening inventory box too.

5] Add towns with shops for purchasing weapons, armor, spells, potions. Add ncp's for hints, side quests, twists. Add Bar for rest, mini games & to hire/remove party members with little high level or different class.

6] Please refer this same type mobile game which having puzzles, ncp's, towns, shops, teleportation system & much more.

For now i have only this much suggestions.. Thanks.

I'm really like your idea with 2handed spells, maybe it would be better to add such trail on 5th lvl of concentration. About game's difficulty I can't say anything because played only on hard, but if you say that easy is hard too, maybe it need some changes (I don't know). As for adding hotkeys I'd prefer this one could be swithced on/off, because thats too interesting to jongle charactre's inventories (also we already have quick weapon change).
About food I think it's meant to be not stackable, so you need to choose would you keep your party starving but with everything you can find or not.
And no towns in Grimrock, special charm of this game is that you are alone no one knows where and all information you get is some notes, riddles, parts of legend etc. So whole plot and history of place you can understand only by the end and by yourself.

And this one from me:
I hope developers could make something with this +/- energy stuff. Just if you change weapons on mage with higher +energy rate to lover one and then back you lose that amount (added only maximum amount). I understand that if it would add +energy each time you can never go out of it (cast spell, change lover-higher, get some free energy, cast another spell, PROFIT) but I ope they can find something else, because that really annoying (I used orb of radiance as 2nd for cheaper light spell, but each time lose more because of switching, or sometimes i switched to bomb and when come back dont have enought energy)

There is nothing wrong with running low health characters but then you need to be aware that evading incoming attacks is a must or otherwise it's "Game Over" very fast. In case you face elemental attacks you can use the elemental shields like frost shield that up resistances.

When you got the feeling that monsters are too tough for your party there is a good chance that you are right! Due to the open world aspect it's easy to walk into an area with inhabitants who are happy to have you for dinner. Another way to judge if you are doing an area too tough for you is by looking at the loot you see/get there. The ruins are such a place: right at the start you are teased with a full plate leg mail. With such a heavy piece of armor on display your alarm clocks should work overtime.

Good advice is to clear the open areas first before checking out what's underground.

Ya I know about the shields but right now i am on level 8 & I have 1 Alchemist & 1 wizard in back row. I am using alchemist as a fire caster so i added few points in alchemy few in concentration & few in fire magic & for wizard air & concentration so i don't have frost shield as well in battle heat sometime we forgot to use proper spells (specially for casual games & not for pro once).

I already got that 3 piece of heavy armor for my 1st row knight & actually I don't have any problem with my 1st row knight & barbarian as they are quite tough & I can handle them but back row characters omg 1st they have low health & not a good armor & very hard elemental enemies are like that ice & poison one damaging all party members so I have to check health/energy plus spell formation in battle heat & as you know that for accessing caster 2nd hand you have to 1st close that window plus cool downs so managing all this is really pain & making battle actually boring & unnatural IMO because if your 4 character party can't beat 1 enemy at the start/middle of the game how you going to survive further levels ? & Its not about surviving but seriously is it looks natural & exciting ?

Actually I am checking new new area's for better weapons & armor & I got quite good things but still enemies are so tough & I have to deal with them one by one only :(

Hi, I'm a big fan of the game.
However, I have a great sense of loneliness on this huge island.
One improvement I would like to add NPC, It put a little life and it would improve history.

Keep up the good work, thank you :)
