Found something odd. I'm playing a party with four humans, each of them has the fast learner trait, and none of them are wearing any experience boost items. None of the characters has missed any experience from dying. However, two characters have more experience then the other two. Seems like a bug.

Were any of them ever dead while you gained experience i.e. killed a monster or found a treasure?

No, and what's even more strange is that the two characters that did die are the ones who have more experience. It makes absolutely no sense.

I figured out where the experience difference came from: Petrified characters don't gain experience.

Couple bugs to report in addition to the fallen crystal bug in another thread.

Poison bolt seems to not give XP when the enemy dies from the poison hit, only from the Dot damage.

Characters still get injuries even if no damage is taken. For instance having 100 fire resist.

Great game btw!

2.1.17: is it intended that the tetromino/pentomino puzzle still prints "correct!" to the console?

Also, eyctopodes can use their backwards-squirt on the party even if they are at a different elevation.

I haven't noticed this too much myself, but my dad just bought a copy and he has told me it looks like the Medusa only has three very jilted frames of animation. (standby, petrify, and bow raised) with nothing in between them. I think this is partly his computer, but I can see what he means, it's pretty obvious the Medusa is pulling an arrow out of the air and then it sort of jumps forward to her shooting the bow. It's really jarring and it kinda ruins a great new monster in my opinion - not to mention taking you out of the game. I think that this monster could be vastly improved by just making the arrow a glowing bolt of energy that she manifests rather than a real arrow, and adding a few frames of animation to her lifting it. Also, I think you could make the details of the petrify animation a bit clearer by adding an edge glow that highlights the snake hair. The glowing bolt fix should be easy enough, just make the texture on the arrow light blue and add a rising glow effect.

Also, I recommend making her barefoot as the culture she comes from did not wear shoes (both the people on Nex and the Earth culture that the myth belongs to). Probably too late to change that, though! :D Other wise, though, this is a great game, guys. I'm really pleased with this as a sequel! It's such a step up from LoG1 and it is the first game for a long long time that has genuinely made me go 'wow'.
