I don't think so. look the canyon level in the south of the castle and if it work(monster, deco...), it should be fine.(I hope so)
The golem should be easy than the last time.

One of the power gems I found in the mines. The place is so huge I was expecting to find more. The other I found previously, was in the swamp. I can't upload a picture right now, but if you look in your map, actually is in the undemine part, southeast corner.

Where to find the other two power gems?

the place where you found the power gem in the mines is the block puzzle room?
Location power gems (essence of water):
-swamp: by defeating ogre and place the horn on the altar
-lake : underwater floor -4
-lake: by defeating magma golem (northwest lake)
-lake: in a buried chest in a hidden place ( southwest lake)
location power gems (essence of fire)
mine: by defeating uggardian trapped in a force field
undermine: by solving block puzzle
abyss: perform both tests

I have no clue how to solve the block puzzle. by block puzzle you mean the 9 plates on the ground?!?!
Also, no clue where to find the lake and the bayss, seems I explored all the map.

No i mean the pushable block puzzle in the undermine.

for the 9 plates puzzle look the shadow of the lantern. to access the lake use three of 5 underwater pressure plate in the swamp. to access the abyss go to the stair northeast or southeast in the mines who lead in the undermine near the exit rock tunnel who lead in the abyss.

if there is no exit rock tunnel in the undermines it's mean you have a old version or you need to restart a party.

there are 5 pressure plates in the swamp. Active only 3 pressure plates (left left, middle and right right).

the canyon works now with monsters and keys for the tomb.
i must now figure out how to come to the middle section..
