I've got the scavenger up and running but at the moment the little freaks are making no sounds. The editor keeps telling me it can't find the wav.files. :x
That is strange... are you assuming they are in the LoG2 assets like the snail and lizard? Maybe copy paste them over from the LoG1 asset pack?
When we get them working I can put them up too + my 2 reskinned scavengers

The asset pack doesn't include the sounds. The scavenger sounds are also not present in grimrock2.dat.

I'd say you should find some decent public domain or Creative Commons sounds instead.

Ahh of course! OK, uploading (151) custom sounds from my LoG1 files now... will post the link once its finished.
There is a cool sound 'monster_insect_die1' that you might find suitable for scavenger stuff...

Yeah I realized the scavenger sounds weren't in the dat files after the event. The annoyance comes from finding 5 or 6 sounds that actually match the scavenger. Akroma is better at finding sounds than me anyhow. ;)

By the way, the lizard steaks can only be consumed if you right-click them. You need to give them the "consumable" trait (as well as the "food" trait) if you want them to be eaten by hovering over a portrait.

Do you want me to add the 5 or 6 sounds to the ones I just posted?? More the merrier :D

Certainly. I personally have most of your spell sounds anyhow (I have quite a large Akroma collection actually :lol: ), but no insect sounds.

Actually, that makes me look forward to creating spells. Hopefully LOG 2 doesn't make granting XP for custom spells a hassle. We all know the complex rigmarole needed to get that to happen in LOG 1 (well complex for me anyhow). ;)

Cool, PM me a link to them or something and I will add them..

I am pretty sure it will be a lot easier to grant EXP... I have seen a few methods like CloudSpellComponent:setCastByChampion(number)
so I suspect AH has made life easier for us here! :D

Hi akroma. as usually I have some request for some weapons :) In case you will have some free time and mood, please could you check ?

1. Restricted weapon (for example two-handed sword), which can be used only by particular party member (based on name probably ?) / or class (knight).
2. Weapon (for example axe) which will get special bonus (some trait) in hands of minotaur (you scripted this already for Log1)
3. Cursed weapon (cannot be take away), could be taken-off only if that character dies.
4. Boosted weapon, which will damage it´s user on each successful attack (as a punishment for higher attack)
