Bow & Crossbows

Post by flex12 »

So i want to setup my party for this evening, but seems i cannot find any info if bow and crossbows need both hands to use.

Do they need one hand for the projectiles or can i just leave the arrows in the inventory for it to work?

Any infos would be great. Thanks!

That's too bad. Kinda strange somehow, since then a bow-rogue only needs one skill to focus on.

Guess i'lle better go dagger and throwing then.

One thing worth mentioning if you didn't realise is all missile (weapon bows and rocks etc) use strength for damage, dexterity does nothing to help ranged weapons.

Yeah, I wasted 2 skillpoints on bows just to discover daggers + thrown weapons will suit me better.

I'm considering restarting to improve my party design, we'll see. :)

Gone with meele and thrown now.
I do like it, but for the next run (hard) i will go with missle weapons. I'm pretty sure they deal a bit more damage.

You know what my thrown weapon minotaur now does the most damage in the party including my Mage! it's gets nice once you get double throw at 33. :)

one thing thrown weapons will never do (aside from bombs) is
SpoilerShow
Allow your mage to enchant your arrows with elements for variable situations, so you dont get caught with your pants down when fire revenants show up and all you have is a fire mage

My warrior with swords out damages everyone. Sometimes his hits are like 130+. Not even counting Flurry attacks.
