Legend of grimrock 2 GOD mode save game

Post by robber2108 »

To All:

I have prepared a GOD mode save game for the legend of grimrock 2
game for Steam.

it starts at the very beginning without even opening the door to the

cage yet....
all four players are at maximum strength, vitality, dexterity,

willpower, energy etc...
all immensely strong....

for those of your who like to be invulnerable. this is good.
just place this file renamed as " savegame23.sav"
in your C:\my documents\almost human\grimrock 2\

directory and load it up...

I uploaded the files to alt.binaries.game
the usenet, for those who know how to use the usenet this should be simple
try searching usenet search engines for "the legend of grimrock 2 save game"

I don't know of another way to upload the save game to anyone.
if you have a better way please email me about it.

enjoy....

Congratulations!
You just managed to provide players with the most boring thing ever by spoiling the game for them.

I could see how some players would find combat hard and want to just focus on puzzles.

Ruin the game by cheating? no thank you. that's lame.

It's a single player game that fully supports MOD's so this wouldn't be ruining anything for anyone. Being able to share Save game groups is fantastic imo. Besides, anyone could essentially achieve this "god mode" by picking 4 Alchemists and walking around for a few hundred hours lol :-0

Yeah starting the game with a party that is already beyond anything possible within the game is so much fun.

Nobody is forcing you to download and load the save if you don't want to.
Grimrock 1 dungeon
Grimrock 2 resources

^ This.

The person made it for those interesting. It's like someone going into the Mod forum and going, "I am not about to download something some kid made by clicking around in the editor and hitting save - this does not make a good dungeon!"

Don't want to download it, fine. Don't. If you want to, then do it. Just be respectful.

For some it can be, especially if they already did the level grind the first time they beat the game. Maybe someone missed all the secrets and wants to give it a 2nd play through without worrying about leveling up. Or maybe someone just wants to play the game by focusing on Puzzles alone; kind of like playing through the Myst series. Technically, in games like Myst and Longest Journey you start off at max level
