Utility of a book ?

Hello,

I found this Book "Rites of the Moon" and when I use it (right click), nothing happens !?

The character that read it will have their Vitality increased by 5 at night and decreased by 5 during the day.

It also increases/decreases cold and poison resistance in the same way, +10 at night, -10 during day

That's just one of the effects of vitality.
