Enemy names and descriptions?

So in the manual there are a few enemies listed and I was wondering if any of you guys knew the names of the other enemies. Particullarly those one eyed squid things cuz they are so cute... Don't judge me :?

Thanks THOM :) may I ask how did you find out? I want one as a pet btw I would let it latch on to my face all day :D

The dungeon editor provides names for all the monsters.
Grimrock 1 dungeon
Grimrock 2 resources

I heard someone call them Beholders and thought that was their official name... oops!

Easily the most unnerving monster, imo.

Actually xeloroids are those flying eye-in-the-mouth creatures. Flying one eyed squids are called eyctopus.
