in combat member swapping

Post by Pendarric »

Only played a few minutes this morning, but i noticed that since the members in the rear can only use ranged attacks, you still can trigger the attacks for the two in the front row, than drag one from the rear to the front, trigger his melee attack, then back to the original member.

is that working as intended, or more an exploit?

I think its not an exploit. If u are good at micro managment u can play 4 mages party :)

Soon you can get spears which have built in "reach" that let back row guys melee attack. Don't plan on keeping those though, they are early game items only and no skills benefit spears. I don't even think upgraded versions of the spear drop later on. So just grab a spear for your rogue (I assume you are running 2 warrior front, rogue mage) and also don't use the spear for your mage, you need all the energy you can get for spells.

Only done level one so far but so far I've found this to be essential for survival.

I'm playing on normal and the game is still nails.
