Path of the Eagle

Im unsure how to accomplish the path of the eagle in the Lexiconary. I'm likely missing something obvious so if someone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

This one is quite unfair in my mind, found it completely by accident. basically you just need to step towards the other side from the top ledge, the ledge with the sign. can't remember exactly at what tile though. you'll step on a sparkling pink tile in the air

The trick is to follow the deepest part of the path - "fly like an eagle".

No, it was not simple - it was, again, stupid. No logic. Why this solution no other? Because developer want. I remember similar, most stupid puzzle ever in Monkey Island 2 when You from monkey (live animal) make crank to the well. And in that moment I said "goodbye" and never return to this production, even I solve this game to this point without any solution (pre-interet times). And again: Monkey Island = 100% polished, everything logical and make sens and ended on my own mind, Monkey Island 2 = no! Similar situation? Yes!

Part 1 is The Path of the Eagle and it's logic is very clear: fly like an eagle a.k.a. be high above the ground.
Part 2 is The Disguised Path and it's logic is also very clear: follow the hidden path marked by the different floor tiles.

This puzzle has 2 parts and both are very logical.

No, they are not. Second part it trivial (typical copy-paste because developers were out of ideas), first is - again - stupid. I play adventure almost 25 years and from practice I can say: bad puzzle, bad design (unfortunately not only this one in LoG II). This is my final opinion.
