It was in the western most part of the level in a room behind a door
Re: Next update wish list
Ya quick save/load features are up there for me, but number 1-3 is more races/classes/traits. That would make the game for me, Im thinking even like 2 more classes would do it.

I think you are able to make notes on the map so this is unnecessary.cokebottle wrote:Buttons and levers should be shown on the automap. Hidden buttons should be shown after you've pressed them once.
As for the spider-free mode, I'm pretty sure there was a mod for System Shock 2 that removed the spider enemies because of how creepy they were. As a fellow arachnophobe I sympathize. I have not gotten to the spiders yet ><

Gotta agree with this, the tooltip/popups are a major issue. They're fine for the first time you want to find out about an item, but after that they are severely interfering with gameplay.urughak wrote:not block the character who is attacking/casting with popups when im clicking on their buttons. I found myself constantly not sure exactly how close to death certain party members were while attacking. In fact, just give us a toggle for popups altogether. they are just getting in my way.
I suggest that they are off by default, and that you change the interface so that the wasted space at the bottom of the inventory can be used for the name of the item (see my mockup link). Then if the player wants to find out more, they can Shift+Click the item for its tooltip, or hover for a couple of seconds. It would make the interface much less cluttered and allow us to concentrate on what we're doing without being interrupted.

higher of Dex or Str used in damage calc for missile weapons
Re: Next update wish list
I'd love that when a class got to a certain point it could level up to a more powerful, more niche version of itself. For example, if I level up my fighter to level 10 then he has the choice to become a knight or a barbarian. Barbrian gets more strength yet the knight gets more defense. My mage reaches level 10 and can become a priest who can heal better or a wizard who can do more spells at a faster rate. Just things like that would be nice.
Different races would be neat, not really sure what they would be, like a fish creature or something that can walk upright that can not be poisoned or frozen but fire will damage it more?
A random level survivor mode type thing. This would just be neat for the reason that it could allow for much more replay value.
Modding in different tiles, characters, races, skins and / or classes would be the bees knees.
This is all just a suggestion but I really do love this game and would like to see it evolve a bit more.

Yes please! I always end up facing the opposite way because of this.
Re: Next update wish list
Perhaps at some point in the game it could be exploited, but if it's not a game breaker I would like to be able to cast spells and maybe shoot arrows through grates/gates. I just tried to throw a poison cloud through one and injured my team because the game treats gates like walls. I mean, it's a poison cloud, right? I intuitively assumed it would go through the grate, but nope. Rocks go through though. Actually, now that I think about it this could be exploited in several instances where a grate separates a whole room of monsters from the player, so you could theoretically just camp outside and zap 'em every time they walked by the door. Anyways....
Using spells with the numb pad would feel a lot better and would give me less of a headache during tougher battles.
Additional avatars for others races would be cool too.
A randomly generated survival mode with random loot might add some value.
I also want a dual wield perk for the rogue.
And QUICKSAVE please.
Can't wait for more dungeons, mods, and further content from the dev team. Really enjoying the game so far, although I have developed an all new hatred for spiders.

Re: Next update wish list
Finally decided to make a profile here after playing the game all night. Fantastic game so far. I`ve so far
had some great moments. I`m at dungeon\level 4 not and i was amazed at how immersive it was. So glad I pre-ordered
this game. I would want better audio control ,a shortcut for the inventory and the respell thingy. At least it should be optional.
More loot, i spezialized in maces and it took ages before i got a decent weapon. A cudgel can only go so far.
I was very happy when i found the mace though so im not complaing now.
Before i write anything else im gonna say kind of spoiler alert so if you have yet to get to level\dungeon 4 do not read any futher.
So far the enemies have been fantastic and the dead archer on level four that go two by two was a supricing thing.
I met two of them...when the first two jumped to the side so the other two archers behind them could shoot i almost had a heart attack
and they kept doing it. First the fronts would shoot then they jumped to the side and the ones behind would shoot, and then the front jumped in front again and so it continued.
If this keeps up i gonna be playing this game for quite a while.
