God I'm hating this game right now...

it just feels so unfair i could tank him for 10 min if i started brewing potions, but it wont do a thing because i cant move and he (she or it) wont... why cant we at least move through them for damage like a poison cloud or something this is just stupid (also the dispel and special weapons i dont have arent the only way to kill them i accidently killed one in the forgotten river by teleporting on top of it, but i figured it was something that would be explained soon, but that never happened)

i saw them before in the forgotten river and could safely run away after i realised i couldnt kill them, but then why is one here aswell with the spikes and still no explanation or anything and grrrr i am mad right now... and i dont want to know how long ago i last saved

Looking at your party it looks like you have no casters and neither of the only two melee weapons in the game that can hurt this guy.

So yeah you might just want to run away from this one.

haha yup thats why i got so angry and sad because I couldnt kill him and he bodyblocked me so i couldnt move either

I think these guys are really badly designed.
I'm not even sure what its supposed to be. I think an air elemental because lightning attacks heal it, but then why is it green? A colour that is associated everywhere with earth (aka poison).

Only a few ways to damage them which makes it really tedious to fight them, even when you know how. Dispel can do anywhere from 15 to 45 damage or something, and there is a good chance that is your only option. I highly doubt many people have more than one character with dispel, so it just turns into a dodge...dodge...dispel... dodge etc. etc. etc. Replace dispel with attack if you happen to find the one weapon that hurts them before you encounter them.

Every other monster is well designed and usually fun to fight (except maybe those suicide fire birds) so I really don't know what they were thinking with this one.

This is actually a valid point because this monster is made up of Air. It should be possible to walk thru them including some non-poison damage taken, similar to those really really cute rat swarms that crawl up your legs.

I didn't really like this monster. Until I was able to damage them I would lure them to the other end of the level and run off so I could do puzzles etc.

well update XD i went around a little before i got back and found this nice new maul ahmmer thingy... then i fucked up and gotr myself stuck again except i now had a knockback special and there was room behind him. i escaped and lured him slowly towards the hub teleporter went back and forth a few times untill BOOOOM! i fragged him. that'll get the bastard!

I like the flavor of these monsters, but if they are incorporeal then the party should be able to move through them.

Dungeon Master 2 had similar enemies, the Lighting Vortices, near the first clan piece. They couldn't be damaged with normal stuff but you could move right through them.
