Bow on level 3?

I've tried everything (well apparently not), but I can't seem to get to the bow room near the two pitfalls. I've looked past the teleporter in the put, etc.
Any help would be appreciated? trying for an hour, so spoilerific answer appreciated.

So, there is a button to press in between the side with the wholes, and the other side, this opens up a slot perpindicular too the holes, there, you throw a rock and the traps close.
