Crashing after exiting LOG2

Game worked fine until i installed the patch after my first playthrough. Now, every time i exit the game, screen goes black and i have to reset the computer, nothing else works.
Is it possible to revert the patch to the prior version?

It seems you have the gog version, or the standalone version. In this case you can uninstall the game and install the original version again - without applying the patch.

But iam curios why this happens to you.
