Hey AH, I think I may have found a bug in the Sewers in the tetris room. Please see this thread for a description of my pain viewtopic.php?f=20&t=7203&start=14 which includes a video of my movement.
By all rights it would seem that I have solved the puzzle yet I am not being rewarded. If I'm doing something wrong let me know, but it seems as I got everything correct.
I've uploaded a save game to http://www.thebilbaos.com/grimrock/quicksave.zip if you'd like to try it out. I am using the latest patch you made available earlier this week.
This glitch aside, I'm loving the game. Leaps and bounds above the original and I thought the original was pretty amazing. Thanks.

Re: Possible Bug in Sewers
Tryed your savegame by first walking the sequence -> no dice
Then I walked the entire room plus the sequence -> no dice
Finally I walked the sequence with placing and picking up an item on each tile -> dice
It seems one of the invisible pressure plates on the tetris isles was not released correct, causing the glitch you see.

I tried as you suggested and still nothing is happening. WTF! Did you place an item on every square of every platform or just the one at the top of the ladder? Did you place the item while you were on the square or before or after you were on it?Dr.Disaster wrote: Finally I walked the sequence with placing and picking up an item on each tile -> dice

This is just really frustrating.
Re: Possible Bug in Sewers
I was able to reproduce the bug going from a clean start to the correct islands in turn. When I went to the center one first and then did the rest, the portal activated. Seems like it didn't reset itself properly in your game somehow. If going to the center first doesn't work for you, you can grab your save with it fixed at the following link.

I put an item on cursor and walked the entire sequence alongside placing+picking up the item from the cursor onto the tile i was about to step on.lurker wrote:I tried as you suggested and still nothing is happening. I'm hip deep in the Cemetery right now. I'll head back to the sewers next chance I get and try out your solution. Thanks!Vardis wrote:I was able to reproduce the bug going from a clean start to the correct islands in turn. When I went to the center one first and then did the rest, the portal activated. UPDATE: Finally got back to the sewers. You are correct, had to go back to the center platform, and then do the sequence. That revealed the teleporter. Thanks so much for your help.
