Re: REQUEST: Catfolk
It seems it could be pretty easy to make custom races. What specs would a catfolk have ?
A trip of a thousand leagues starts with a step.

I know that when I'm done with the game I'll put some thought and effort into it.It seems it could be pretty easy to make custom races. What specs would a catfolk have ?
Will probably avoid the expected routes though.

Re: REQUEST: Catfolk
I'd imagine it'd be something like this.
Catfolk hailing from the deserts of nex, and origionally worshiped by the Xzhi, these creatures are incredibly graceful and agile fighters. But their inquisitive and curious nature tends to get them into trouble.
+4 to Dexterity
-4 to wisdom.
-Bonus Uncanny Dodge. The cat's reflex allows them to uncannily dodge their foes attacks. (superior increase to evasion and accuracy. Lower starting energy)
Traits 1 - Cats Curiosity. The inquisitive nature of a cat to get into anything has been past down to you. META: Plays a sound when you move by a secret passage, hidden teleporter, or interesting patch of dirt. Maybe switches? Cool down random 15-30 minutes global. "Prrmerow?"
Trait 2 - Rapid strike. A catfolk is able to randomly strike multiple times in one assault, with any melee weapon.
Trait 3 - Bad Luck. A chance for enemies to experience backfire.
Seems like there is a favored food in this game. So I will add this.
Favored Food. Fish
Naturally, this character would not make the greatest mages. But will be a useful alchemist, or an amazing rogue. Likely to go down first in the water.
Also with this game having a good amount of secrets also being death traps. It further fits with the description, "curious nature gets them into trouble". Also probably giving you clues of what may happen to you later.

And if your party consists only of catfolk, you get free night vision.
