4 x Lizardmen for Endure Elements?

Post by Honelith »

Just about to start my first game in LoG2, LoG1 was bloody awesome!

Gone for 2 x Knights on the front row with Evasive and Endure Elements traits and Heavy Weapons and Dodge skills, maxed out Dex and Str. Aiming for high dodge/evasion with Shield evasion buff from being a Knight.

Alchemist in the back with maxed out Dex and Vit with Alchemy and Missile skills and Agile and Endure Elements trait, the Bow and Alchemy user.

Alchemist in the back with maxed out Will and Vit with Fire and Air skills with Strong Mind and Endure Elements trait, the Spellcaster.

I wanted to try 2 Alchemists just for more herbs and wanted more health for my Spellcaster as opposed to the Wizard, went with full Lizard roster for high resists.

Think this is a solid group?

Thanks.

yeah it is pretty solid the only real draw back to me is the alchemist will be awhile before they can cast anything. You get a wand fairly quick but then its going to be some time before you get a 2nd caster item unless you know where they are and head right for them.
It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

Awesome team.
Lizards flat out kick butt late game imo. Since most of the real damage dealt that is extra heavy is elemental.
I have 2 Alchys in the back now and 2 Lizards in the front line. Mid game I am at 8 crystal flowers for pots. 30+ and 20+ for basic herbs (mana and health)
There is no reason that I can see to make a battle mage or wizard for magick use.

Just want to point out that doing a evasion heavy champion does not even come close to LOG1
Max dodge yields only 15 evasion. Max on a shield is 10 (so 15 with Knight bonus) Evasion armor is sparse.
I would recommend using protection base.

Don't forget that Dex adds to your Evasion stat. My knight is sitting on about 50 evasion right now and hes not even kitted out in full evasion armor.

Cute party.

Don't expect much of Evasion though, Protection is still vital and far easier to stack. Unsure how good is the shield bonus but less than 40 Evasion wont help much

My Knight has about 94 Protection and 52 Evasion at level 11. He is really hard to kill right now.
