Time and Tide and food.

I'm having huge issues with the difficulty of this game. Seems the only way anything can be accomplished is by fighting at doorways and closing the door before the enemy attacks.

Anyway, I have two issues at the moment. The first is in Time and Tide where the platforms open and close one by one, one after another. If I move along the path and turn, a flying enemy is in my way and I fall down the pit. The pit has spear skeletons and archers, which destroy me without fail. How in the world do I handle this section? And stating 'I did this in hard mode easy' is no help so don't bother

The second is food. I've run out.... is the game basically over when everyone starves to death or does this not happen?

Well imagine that... I luck out and fall on the archers killing them. Problem solved ^_^;
