Released: GrimLint v1.1 (Sw for dungeon analysis)

Post by Xanathar »

Hi all,
I've put together a small utility which checks dungeons for common mistakes (at least - common mistakes I make :D), plus offers handy reports about file usage and items distributions.

First of all a clarification: not everything it says is a real mistake - it's just a polite suggestion to double-check something which is likely totally good but smells bad :)

Downloads at : https://github.com/xanathar/grimlint/releases

To open the reports you need Excel, or an office suite capable of opening .xlsx files, or some trip back and forth with google docs.

Please report here any problem, wish, whatever :)

I know nobody cares about this anymore (if ever :P ), but version 1.1 has been released: https://github.com/xanathar/grimlint/releases
  • Replaced Lua engine for performance improvements in loading stage
  • Deep analysis mode is now default (as it performs rather the same as fast mode after the change in Lua interpreter)
  • Fixed a bug where custom recipes crashed the tool
