Beat the game without going to the pyramids?

Post by pongsifu »

So I just beat the final boss and credits rolled and... I never went to the pyramids. I also never created the 5th element (had 2 shards on me at the time). When was I supposed to go to the pyramids and why is it totally optional? What does getting the 5th element do?

Why spoiler it when you can find out yourself? ;)

Well I'm trying to decide if I should just go back (I saved just before entering the end) or just do it on a second playthrough. It really depends on how soon I was *supposed* to go there. Plus I'm curious as to why you would need the 5th element (which the game doesn't tell you about until you enter the castle) when the boss fight is easy enough without whatever it gives you (at least on normal difficulty).

I suggest you try the pyramid to find out :)

I, on the other hand, did complete the Pyramids, but never found the 20th stone of power, and so didn't get the second "final" ending. I also left a few secrets untouched. Doesn't bother me that much - gives me motivation for my second playthrough.

Didn't you hear? Some of us got the ultra-maxi secret edition unlocked by finding and backing the hidden Kickstarter. We get four more stones and yet another ending!

Fixed, and I will check the thread out for my next playthrough!
