Hi John I used your GMT 1 a lot before and I mean a lot lol. I cant wait to see the newer version and yes being able to click on a folder from log1 mods and convert the object to log2 will be awesome and save a lot of work
I was also wondering will you release your Note Book in log2? I hope so it is awesome in log1 I do hope all the people that released things like search floor, quick action bar etc... will do the same and recreate it for log2 Thxs keep up the good work
PS: Will you still be able to use your Atlas program??
@ John, I would request some tuts and maye some kind of written manual to get things going, It would be great to try to make it dumb friendly, because I have never been in the 3D/animation biz before, but might want to

+1
and I also wanted thank you again for all the effort, one of best stuff around !
@Mysterious: Great to hear! I am planning on upgrading the Notebook to LOG2 as soon as the Asset Pack or Scripting Reference has been released. Before then, I would rather spend time on the GMT2 than picking away with unknown methods and definitions (although, I do enjoy that sort of thing!). If the size of icons has changed, then I will update the Atlas Generator too . If the icons are the same size, then it should just work as it did before.
@CromCrom: Good point. I'll try write a couple of tutorials about how to do the most common operations and then perhaps ask SKuggs very nicely if he could do a YouTube tutorial or two as well (when the software is more mature!).
@Drakkan: Many thanks! .

errr I think most moders have forgotten how important this tool is to all of us or they just dont know. So I want his back on the on of the list yeah. This tool GMT will allow Moders to manipulate objects in their mods and allow for different textures on models etc.. The 1st version I personaly used so much that I had 200 + custom objects awesome ahy
Just another screenshot to show some basic evolution of the tool. I'm hoping to really crack on with it this weekend and make some real progress .

You can now merge scenes and move nodes around. You can also set the rotation order, but rotations are still in a simple "X, Y, Z" terms, and not quaternions (at least, from the user's perspective!).

Just another quick update. I've implemented the ability to copy and paste nodes / node trees which means you can now re-arrange model structures. It also gave me a chance to show off the much improved rendering. Each of these models is using separate geometry, and all 60 monsters render buttery smooth on my macbook.

I'm currently working on getting materials to render and then I'll start on animation support. I'm hoping to have an initial release in 2-3 weeks time, depending on my free time.
