Hamlet of Stormbreach Plate Puzzle

Post by khaustic »

Hey all, I'm stuck in Stormbreach, as the title suggests. I've cleared the entire area, except for the southeast corner.
SpoilerShow
There is a path made of 4 pressure plates, followed by a closed gate. On either side of the 4th plate are stone faces that spit poison when I step between them. The plates can only be held down by me, not by items, so I can't try any combinations of the plates, and I can only walk down the path one step at a time, so I can't try stepping on them in different orders. Anyone figure this one out?

There is a philosopher stone (on hamlet map) that gives you a hint about this.

Man, that took me way longer than it should have. I kept thinking it was the "There are two sides to everything" philosopher's stone. Thanks!
