Re: Beta 2.1.10
There have been a few reports of invisible wall squares but so far we haven't been able to reproduce the bug. It seems to be very rare and hard to produce. I think it has something to do with monster groups. If you can destroy the monster group causing the problem the invisible wall should disappear. I'll start investigating the issue right away on Monday.

I'm confused. So many questions.petri wrote:In the buckler case, the bug was kind of minor (the buckler did not give evasion bonus when held in hand, but worked from the wrist accessory slot).
- How is this a bug? Isn't this how the item is intended to work? You're SUPPOSED to put it in the wrist slot and not hold it in your hand right? The only reason people are holding it in their hand is because they don't know that it isn't a shield.
- If anything shouldn't you just rename it from "buckler" which implies that it's a shield to "bracer" or something like that, to avoid the confusion altogether?
- If the buckler has now been patched to work from the hand slot as well as the wrist slot, does this mean I could put one buckler in my wrist slot and hold another in my hand and get double evasion bonuses? Not that it would be optimal when I could just use a shield, but I don't get why it should work in the hand slot at all.

Re: Beta 2.1.10
The buckler can be used as both shield and bracer. During beta we discovered the bracer option by chance and did vote to keep it. After several more versions somehow the bucklers shield-option seems to have gone lost so yes this is a bug.
Re: Beta 2.1.10
Ah, I see. So the bug is that there used to be a bug, but people liked the bug and chose not to fix the bug, but then later a new bug appeared which stopped the first bug from working. yo dawg i heard you like bugs
I think it's strange kinda that it can work as both types of items simultaneously but I guess it's not really a problem either way.

It was no bug, it was just unexpected.sergregor wrote:Ah, I see. So the bug is that there used to be a bug, but people liked the bug and chose not to fix the bug, but then later a new bug appeared which stopped the first bug from working. yo dawg i heard you like bugs

The bucklers appearance hints that it can be used as a bracer but it took us testers a while to get it.
Re: Beta 2.1.10
I investigated this more and noticed that the bug does not exist if I start earlier save game, in fact there is only 8,5 min of game play between bug/no bug (1. and 2. save games).petri wrote:There have been a few reports of invisible wall squares but so far we haven't been able to reproduce the bug. I uploaded 3 save games that include:
1. Before bug existed (before_bug.zip).
2. Bug is already created, always happens (bug_exists.zip).
3. Another play from 1.save where there is no bug (another_run_without_the_bug.zip).

If I remember correctly, I sneak peaked the next area quickly and after that went to the 'wolf' area where the bug existed, maybe that had something to do with the bug, or not...
Hope this helps,
Marko
Re: Beta 2.1.10
EDIT: ah, never mind! I did not see the correct download button on filedropper.
Thanks but would it be possible to have a direct download link to the save games? E.g. a dropbox link will do or any other service that does not require login or installing crap.
Alternatively you could send them to feedback AT almosthumangames dot com, but I don't have access to the inbox from home, so I can start looking at the issue earliest on Monday.

Question, did you fight with the bugged warg pair or was the bug already present when you first met them?xmahle wrote:I investigated this more and noticed that the bug does not exist if I start earlier save game, in fact there is only 8,5 min of game play between bug/no bug (1. and 2. save games).
Thank you for helping us track down the bug!
