Mouse flickers

Like the title says, my mouse pointer flickers badly when I move it, and when it's stationary the pointer disappears completely. By flickering badly I mean it's impossible to precisely move the pointer to where you want, it's that bad.

I'm playing on an Asus U56e laptop with Intel HD3000 graphics, and my touchpad is a Synaptics PS/2 port with driver version 15.3.17.0. There is no updated driver that I can find.

Help! I'm so psyched to play this, but bummed that I can't.

Alright, I have a workaround! I found out that if I choose windowed mode instead of fullscreen it fixes the problem!! Hopefully this may help someone else enjoy the game. Now I'm off to play!
