First Bow

Just wondering where you get your first Bow?

Got about 11 arrows and even 2 crossbow bolts and starting to wonder if I've missed it somehow...

I obtained one from a pedestal at the south end of the river map, just before the land exit to the swampland. A second bow spawned from a chest, but I'm afraid I don't remember where, and it seems increasingly likely that chest loot varies from one game to the next.

I haven't seen a single crossbow yet.

You have to go through the "keen eye" puzzle on the forgotten river map and then search the area that opens up.

I don't recall where I got my short bow, but if you're really bow-starved you could open the rogue's cache in The Cache area beneath The Forgotten River.
