Pussed Out on Hard, Can I Reset My Game To Normal?
I pussed out, at least at the moment, is there any way I can set the difficulty back to normal or must I restart the entire game again?

There is no way to change the difficulty setting after the game was started. You will have to restart.DNACowboy wrote:I pussed out, at least at the moment, is there any way I can set the difficulty back to normal or must I restart the entire game again?
btw: what made your decision to change difficulty?

If it was anything I would assume it was "the nest" man that place was the first place my party got wiped at.Dr.Disaster wrote:There is no way to change the difficulty setting after the game was started. Tbh, I should have played through on normal the first time around and then chosen hard.

I really don't understand why games do this. How am I supposed to know which difficulty is right for me before I actually play the game?Dr.Disaster wrote: There is no way to change the difficulty setting after the game was started. You will have to restart.

If there are three difficulty levels to choose from and you don't know which is right for you, would you go for the touchest option first?eduran wrote:I really don't understand why games do this. "Back in my day we did not have difficulty options at all."
But no really if you don't know what you should try always pick the default. Game designers normally make Default the sweet spot for most of the player base.

No, I wouldn't and didn't. But now, a couple of hours in, I wish I had picked normal instead of easy. I have to ask: what is the downside to allowing players to switch difficulty in the middle of a playthrough?Dr.Disaster wrote:eduran wrote:Dr.Disaster wrote: If there are three difficulty levels to choose from and you don't know which is right for you, would you go for the touchest option first?

Because what would be the point then? Folks would just keep setting it to easy every other fight. If you want a challenge pick hard, if you just want to beat the game pick easy, and if your unsure pick normal. Changing difficulty in mid game kind of defeats the whole idea of picking a difficulty at all.eduran wrote:No, I wouldn't and didn't. But if you are really attached to your party don't worry I am sure much like LoG 1 someone will release a mod of the main game with allows character importing. Might be awhile though.

You mean a complete rebuild of the main campaign with the editor? I really doubt that will happen. Doing the main campaign of LoG1 with the editor was a major work and took months. LoG2 is at least twice if not three times as large with a lot more details and scripting work at the same time.Saice wrote:But if you are really attached to your party don't worry I am sure much like LoG 1 someone will release a mod of the main game with allows character importing. You're faster by starting over.
