/solved Alchemist -> Cast Water/Earth Spells? -> with Staff!

I chose an Alchemist as a caster for water/earth spells. I am already at the forrest and slowly I do wonder, if I still need to find some magic orbs or whatever (what exactly?) to make him being able to cast any spells, or if the points set in water/earth magic are wasted.

So, can an alchemist cast spells with given points in water/earth? Did I miss anything? Or are the points wasted?

You should find a staff in the wood area, can´t remember exactly where it was, but with the staff, your alchemist can use magic. Water and earth is also a good combo, because there is a good spell that needs both.

Only Wizard and Battle Mage can cast with bare hands.

Ok. Thank you very much for the answer. Just found a lightning rod so far, but with it I was not able to cast yet. I will continue to search then.

The staff also needs 1 concentration, otherwise you can´t wear it

There's an Orb in the Cache not far away to, (East by the castle walls) you will need a gold key though. I especially like the Orb as it casts light.

I think my lightning rod is out of charges. Can it be recharged? And how?

Yes, with a crystal of recharging. But a lightning rod is really a waste of a crystal of recharging.
