Too bad it doesn't display FPS.

EDIT. It seems to run just fine on this my ancient setup.

Please do keep in mind that this is not a performance test: this just tests overall compatibility eg. does the game start at all or are there some rendering glitches etc. The game itself requires much more power from the GPU and CPU than this test scene. :)

It runs great in my native screen resolution 2560 x 1600.
I'm eager to play this game...

Even if it's not a performance test like Antti said, you can use a software to see your fps, like Fraps.

Btw, it's okay too for me on my old config (C2Q Q9400, ATI 4870 1Go, 8Go RAM, on Win7 x64). I just noticed that V-Sync locks my fps to 30, while i've 54 fps with V-Sync off. Maybe because i don't get 60 fps without V-Sync, with V-Sync on the game just set the maxfps from 60 (60 Hz screen) to 30 ?
Edit @Below : Well hopefully i'll not have tearing with V-Sync off. Otherwise i guess 30 fps is not much a problem on a game like Grimrock, it'll stay smooth.

Yeah, that's what V-sync means. Without triple buffering, to prevent tearing it has to effectively clamp the framerate to a factor of your refresh rate, so if your monitor refreshes at 60 Hz and your video card can draw at 54 FPS, it will clamp it to 30 FPS.

Works great, integrated Intel chip was having some clearly visible performance issues when compared to the NVIDIA GPU on my laptop. But bottom line it is running great and I couldn't be happier to see that, as on my old laptop I had some notable performance problems with the original Grimrock. Btw. some nice effects going on in that scene ;). Music is fantastic too.

However, what I find exceedingly strange is that the grimrock.log file shows 7 GPU's...
