**Bladed Gear Bug??**

Post by automan78 »

Hi all, Ive got all 3 parts for the machine apart from the bladed gear, I've looked online to see where its placed and its not there. Ive swept the dungeon over and over and its defiantly not there. All I can think it is a bug?
Im running it on mac osx

Thanks in advance

If there would be such a bug it would have been fixed more than a year ago.

Then I really have no idea then. I truly have gone over and over it, watched YouTube vids and it just isnt about. Ive restarted the game again because of it.

I guaran-frickin-tee that it's there somewhere, no need to restart the whole game. It may have been picked up and dropped somewhere, tossed somewhere, hidden under rubble/box/etc

Obviously, crazy stuff can happen and there is always the possibility that it is a bug. However, for just 1 item to randomly disappear and to have nothing else wrong - it's unlikely.

However, that doesn't make your situation any less frustrating!

Solutions...

1. Check everywhere - make sure the gear isn't obstructed by anything else you threw away. It could be hiding under a shield or something. Jump down any pits, check those areas. If you're really unlucky - it might have fallen in just the wrong place and be clipping with a wall and hardly visible.

2. I can't post the exact solution right now as I'm on my phone. However, you could enable the developer console from within your game's config file . Then, in the game, you can use the spawn command to simply create a new version of the piece. This is relatively technical, but should only take a few minutes. Hopefully someone here on a PC can post the exact spawn command you would need (I don't know the name of the item you want to spawn).
