Hehehe... as with many wall texts, it is a big LIE!!!

You can not take all the time you need - it is actually a timed puzzle and you must be quick! 8-)
Try pressing buttons as quick as you can....

hi there,

back again, some issues to report:

clipping issu on the second door (left pillar), I suppose it is because there is another door merging with the door. r it's simply a pillar who did not be there.

clipping issues, everywhere in the room (lvl8): here it's because you use prison door merging themselves. You can't avoid that, or ask A.H. to make a wall grating for the prison wallset ;)
if you really want to avoid this you can use a wall grating, dungeon or temple, then put a opened secret door on the same place, but this is a minor "graphic" issue.

I finally be able to use the enchant poison arrow scroll!
but I can't use it in real: the level required to read it (lv7), is not the same than the level required to cast it (lv11).

under the wall bridge room:
there is something merging the stairs that bring you back in the palace.

and finally, another clipping issue:
when you pass the bridge walk, the door pillars merge with the stairs pillars.

Hey Bongobeat!

Thanks for those shots... I have noticed them also and will change / repair them asap :-)
Have you passed The Palace / Palace Dungeon yet??

Regarding the end of the Palace Dungeon - reaching The Horrus Mines:
SpoilerShow
There is a very very hard fight (too hard actually - involving Wardens and dagger throwing Master Uggardians) you need to do to get to the Shaft Controls which will open the trap door leading down to The Horrus Mines. I actually gave up on the fight as I died very quickly and horribly about 25 times. However, this is not the only way to get to The Horrus Mines. If you can locate at least 1 brass key (interrogation room - near the fight I just mentioned... you can go back to the holding cells (where there is blood stained floors and leeches). Open up the furtherest cells and enter the last cell. There is a button which will open a door with an alternate trap door route down to the mines. Hope this helps. I will need to tone down the fight with the Wardens and Master Uggardians - its just too hard.
Hope you're we'll!!

Hey Akroma,

do you remember my pm about this area?
SpoilerShow
I actually managed to beat the fight after many tries with some good use of the invisible teleporters - the knife-throwing monsters being the hardest obstacle - but the shaft control lever was buggy and made the game crash. So I found the alternative way you described to the mines and they are a cool place to explore but I encountered another bug besides the beehive5. When you take the alternative route and walk through the "I won't spoil even here" you find the "usual" entrance area. When you enter this area a gate closes and traps you and a huge fight starts. After the fight I could not find a way out as the gate remained closed and I did not find anything to open it.
See ya,
Banaora

Hi Akroma,

I will take a look later ;)

Hey Banaora!!

Sorry champ! To get out of that area you need to have equipped in one of your champions hands....
SpoilerShow
pick axe
The puzzle "better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it" refers to work tools... and in the mine, the main work tool for slaves is... ;)
Sorry for the late reply!

I will post more about the mines tomorrow as I am up to that part too... there are a couple of bugs I need to mention.
Work now though :(

Bongobeat!!

That is a very hard fight... I might be making it a bit easier.
If it is too hard you can always escape down the pits and come back up after using the healing crystal

Speak soon!!

Hey Akroma,

wow such a simple solution that I never thought of. Somehow the idea of equiping certain items to pass certain areas always falls off my mind. Might it be a good idea to give a hint ingame that at least one of the characters is supposed to have something specific equipped? Maybe a hud message "This way is blocked it can only be passed with the proper tools equipped." would be to obvious and not subtle enough but this is the best I can come up with right now.

So what I want to say: The concept of equipping items to solve puzzles should be introduced to the player.

You are doing a great job Akroma!! Keep pushing :D and I'm looking forward to playtesting your next version.

Cheers,
Banaora

Thanks Banaora!! Keep pushing I shall....

I was a bit worried about that puzzle, as I think the saying is very familiar to working class Australians... so it is obvious for me but maybe not the rest of the world?? :?
It is used when you are considering whether or not you should bother taking some equipment with you to a job ;)

You are right though... there are not many (if any) other puzzles like that up until that point in the game....
Thanks again champ!
