I tried the ninja quarterstaff for the ninja weapon, the whitewood wand for the wizard, a blue gem or the orb of radiance for something blue as sky and a torch or a scroll of light for give me light. But nothing happened.
So far I liked exploring and this mod is full of secrets and great items. The monsters are challenging but beatable so far.
I'm stuck here as well, I've tried the quarterstaff, the katana, throwing knives, throwing starts (both types) with no result.

well, you need the whitewood wand instead of the quarterstaff, and a … shuriken.
No offense, but it's funny, all peoples try all throwing weapons for "ninja's weapon", but never the shuriken ! I m starting to think that no ones use it! :D

by the way, be careful if you remove an item after the door opens itself. If you put back any item (accidentally) the door will close itself.
Then you had to do again the complete sequence

Is this the correct solution?
SpoilerShow
West: "Blue as the sky" = Radiant Orb
North: "I need a light" = Torch
East = "It is of the wizard, and made of wood, and it is white" (something like that) = Whitewood Wand
South = "Ninja weapon" = Shuriken
Because if it is, it doesn't seem to work. I had already tried the shuriken, and didn't hear or see any change. Is the door that this opens far away?

replace the orb by a blue gem
it open a secret door, located north west of this room. You can't miss it

Thank you, that did the trick. Now I'm stuck in the hall beyond the door that needs the Gear Key. I've found a hidden switch in a side room, but otherwise nothing else will open.

I have a Stairs Key and a Firestaff Key, as well as the Firestaff replica. Any hints?

Normally after the 4 alcoves room, a secret door has opened, and you come to 2 gem slots. Did you use them?

at this time you should have 2 blue gems. If not, try exploring the catacombs level.

if yes, use the gems in the slots and go to the pit (a pit opens itself)

the way to the gear key is trough this pit.

did you find toorum's library? It's on the way where you get the key to access the 4 alcoves room.

the stairs key is used, when you find a stairs door (wall text). There is one by level (exept level1)

you can drop the fire staff replica if you don't use it, it is not needed (in this version, in the next version it will)
Keep the fire staff key, you will need it to obtain the firestaff (real)

Yes, I have done all of this. I found Toorum's library, his quarters, used the red gem and killed the bees. I already have the Gear key, and I have used it. I'm in the room that comes AFTER the gear key door, a large hall with tables and many doors, of which only can be opened. In that room is a secret button, and pushing that didn't seem to do anything.

EDIT. Nevermind, I found the switch.

EDIT #2: Any hints about the "all for one" and "don't be late" puzzles?
