Yes. But the Human Archer is better choice, because of his ranged combat animation set. So if you wanna lasergun shooter, I can change his head to wear some kind of helmet as well...

Yeah lasergun seems a bit out of place.
Yet it could be interesting to have a bit more rogue/ninja oriented theme with throwing weapons and maybe a quick charge with daggers.

Well, a human with laser gun will suit for my mod. Always looking for human using old technologies.
But actually I use the human bowman (black). High skilled archer. And don't want to change it. But another kind of human with some type of laser gun could be a nice evolution, for the last levels.

Hmm... It's not bad at all, but still... Do you have any idea how to solve that "particle cut effect" when breathing monster is replaced with non-breathing? Maybe to add some particle emitter, but I dont like that solution :?

maybe some sort of short fading smoke effect as transition between fire and non fire breathing,if such a thing is possible that is ?, shamefully enough i never realy got the hang of particles and advanced scripting.... :oops:

Without an idea how you did it at all: it can be seen that the breath starts small and spreads out further so the effect does indeed build up. This let's me guess it's a function you call which keeps repeating / increasing / spreading the effect. Usual functions end so it would stop spreading the effect on it's own after a while. Perhaps all what's needed is a 1-3 second delay at the end?

No. It's imposible/too complicated to do it in that way I guess.
The solution is to animate breath node out of visible range and ten let the model stay in scene for few second until lifetime of particles expires. I will try it and let you know if it works... Hmm... I am sure it will...


EDIT: Hmm... It works I guess... What do you think? Do you like it? I will improve the animation, lenght of breathing, sounds, etc, but before that I would like to know if you like breath particles and the way how breath works.

just took a good look at the updated video, and as far as i could tell the whole breathing and fire motion looked solid to me. there was no abrubt end of flame like in previous video so it looks fine, dunno what you say, but i say thumbs up 8-)
