Speculation is that the iPad is able to deliever anything near the GPU rendering power of a halfway current graphics cards. Also LoG was in delevopment long before the iPad existed.
In your opinion what is the wifi signal jammer used for?
For sure not to help a GPU render stuff faster ..

Six days later I ask myself: Why was that poorly disguised spam post never deleted?
(The post before dr.disaster, to avoid confusion. I admit it has no links, but still.)

Without payloads, it's hard to say whether we're talking about a strange human (or an idiot) or a spambot. If it is a spambot, it'll come back at a later date to post a spam message, at which point we'll just nuke all of its previous posts.

Granted, this one seems to be obviously off-topic, but plenty of other suspicious posters are less so.. and with first posts like "I had this problem too, thanks!" it's hard to say whether it's a bot or not.. What makes things worse is that it appears that some of these "spambots" are actually people - working on a spam farm of sorts, and after that there's really no difference between an idiot in a hurry and a spammer (because the spammer IS a human in a hurry to get his or her spam post count high enough to make their dollar-a-day salary or whatever).

Anyway, most of the time we give the benefit of a doubt. Being aggressive with the banhammer tends to lead to collateral damage. In most cases it's best to flag those posts and ignore them - don't reply. =)

It's naturaly another case if a spambot (without payload) starts to post several posts a day and causes nuisance that way, but a single post here or there isn't that bad.

so his partner in crime showed up and added a spam link within a "quoted" section to try to get away with it. Both banned and deleted now :)
