After some UnEpic offtime from LoG i just got into this very nice story-diven mod. It's similarities to EoB are obvious, yet it's superior in one point: the characters are swapable at any time which is really cool
Actually i had a bit of a rough start with this mod due to that map marker bug thing but after Xan gave me that hint and i moved the map markers away from critical spots all went well again. Completed it in two sessions with the first being really looong (yeah, one more sleepness night) which by itself says this mos is great!
Right now i'm on my second playthru, this time with a wild mage plus char juggling involved and i must ask: how long did it take you to think up all those wild surge things?!? This alone(!) is worth re-playing this mod if looking for all secrets seems not enough of a reason. Can't wait to get my hands on more stuff like the Mark Knoffer .. oh btw: any chance to stack those anvils
EDIT:
Heh i just discovered by chance how to exploit the wild surge "empty hands". Anything in your hands is dropped to the floor including what you got on your cursor. Right now i'm walking thru the dig collecting the orichalcums and to do this efficiently without walking back and forth tons of times i carry a wooden box on my cursor. Guess what happend when that wild surge kicked in: instead of 1 box with 2 orichalcum in it i now have 4(!) boxes with 2 orichalcum inside the original box plus 8(!) additional orichalcum on the floor!

Alien figure -> Not mandatory at all to finish the game - it's a "super secret". There are four of them and each hides a relic.
Here's a guide to the four relics. All involve level 5 (the dreaded one eheh) and all except one of them involves another level too.

Orb - found by beating the death pit. Either fall from above, or - a lot better - get the key, lost somewhere on the ground at level 5.

Found by solving the very hard puzzle at level 4 with 3 levers and 1 button, solution is DUD - DDD - UDD - DUU (D = down, U = up). Solution can be deduced from a note with four numbers at level 5 and translating them to binary (very hard) or by brute forcing the sound feedback.

Dropping an item from level 4 on the "timed mechanism plate" of level 5 (the plate must be clean of items, won't work if you put an item on it at level 5).

Solving a secret in east area of level 5 where there is a plate and 3 teleporters - you have to time the throwing of an item so that it falls in the middle teleporter (timing puzzle).

Just noticed something:
After completing the 2nd playthru of the Sunset Gate on hard i did play the Missing Heir, also on hard. Now there i noticed that the monsters were really set to hard mode and delivered accordingly while for the Sunset Gate i could not make out a difference between normal and hard mode. So i wonder if the monsters got really set to hard mode. My save game slots state the mod was set to hard, just to prevent confusion.

You sure meant 10, not 13. The machine will only invert when it's fueled by 10 enriched orichalcum, no more, no less.
Now: which "other room" exactly do you enter?
Hopefully not the orichalcum chamber because that means certain death with the machine running.

1. The control panel
2. Maintenance room (with alcove)
3. The orichalcum room (with alcove)
