Hi guys. Love this mod and highly enjoy the puzzles. However not sure if this is a bug or working as intended and not solved yet but in Goromog temple Lv 2 the part about the dull key being made bright again. Well I was able to put one of the ornate keys in key lock and discovered by accident that I am supposed to put the other dull ornate key in one of the dragon's mouth. However I can't click to grab it out. Was it supposed to work like that or am I doing something wrong? The SE dragon just won't leggo of the dull key.

Also need a hint on the ornate door as soon as you teleport on this side of the map. its the door to the W that doesn't open without help. Any hints on that?

This works as intended. Explore the shrine further, obviously you missed something.

There is another secret door that needs to be opened in the shrine (the key in the dragon opened one behind it)

That ornate door you mentioned opens later, don't worry :)

Alrighty well I was able to do it. Nice nice nice at the end. Really hats off to you guys for making that new elemental boss and awesome on the endings and escape. Maybe these developers should look to highering you lol that was exciting. I loved the caverns with the multiple levels seen above. Not sure how that effect was done but it wasn't present in the original game or I just don't remember seeing any rooms as large as those. The one at the end was so epic. Are we supposed to fight the snail king twice? Anyway looking forward to anything else you guys come up with in the future. Excited for GRIMOCK 2 already ahha.

Thanks for the kind words! :D

The original game didn't have any multiple height/depth rooms, that is a custom "trick" with offset wall heights.

Daniv made the individual elemental monsters, I just hooked them all together in a seamless sequence.

The snail king
SpoilerShow
only has one fight, but as you noticed, he managed to make his own escape from Grimrock in the end. :)

First of all , thank you for this great mod, very well done.

Is it me (or my browser), but when i click the walkthrough it stops somewhere in the beginning of level 7 ??
It seems to be not complete.

Hey everyone,

I just went through the entire master quest start to finish, and I must say that it is a fantastic mod. I played some of the vanilla LoG but not much, I must say that what you have done made it quite a long strenuous journey for my 4 adventurers. The entire journey was challenging and very rewarding at times. However I didnt run into the snail king, which makes me very sad. He taunted me the entire game. This mod is definitely worth a play through, if not 2.

Thanks Thuriss, glad you had fun! You can play it again by importing your final party and continue leveling from where you left off, maybe this time finding more secrets and meeting the snail king face to face ;)
