I've looked everywhere and see no more secret buttons or level in which I can press to raise the wall. Please help.
Check the walls more carefully. In case you run LoG in low render with low texture at least increase texture to medium.

The button is somewhat nearby the wall, and it's a hard-to-see one

I've checked everywhere. Still don't see this secret button. Approximately how close to this wall is this button?

I am running the game in highest graphical quality...I should be able to see button but I don't.

Let me start by saying this mod brought me back to LoG. You did an awesome job.

I'm stuck at level 9, Path of the Penitent. I must be missing something major here, no matter what i try, walking forward, the floor opens and i get dumped into level 10 (with Zhandul's Orb). Does the solution have something to do with the 2 heads that spit poison clouds? I've been trying for hours.

HELP.

Another hint is audio - a certain sound can be heard right when you teleport there.

I must be thicker than usual, i'm not hearing any special sounds and "paying more attention to where i'm coming from", I'm drawing a blank. Oh well, thank you for taking the time to reply. Still an awesome mod.

Check the square you are standing on. There must be something to it when you're dumped down to Zhandul's by leaving it.

btw in the original this works exactly the same.
