If in doubt who is next in line for his room, please feel free to put it in dropbox for me :)

Did you visit the Wine Merchant's Basement? And heard about the Awakening of Taarnab?

I didn't have time to play through it in detail (fell asleep last night), but I quickly looked at the (great!) concept this morning. As for the lighting issue, I'm not sure. In pure darkness it looks ok I think, giving it a "magic" quality. If the party has a torch or light spell it's a little bit less effective and distracting. The version with more illumination looked good though, maybe made it clearer what is going on (for example, falling in the closed pit, which you kind of missed in total darkness). I would like other people's opinions too...

But anyway, everybody who gets the file to put his room in should play the other ones already there before, just to help everybody catch glitches and such, and just to get the general feel.

1. Not only is this helpful as you say for catching bugs, but also helps you to see what power level the party will be at the time they reach your room and what equipment they will have.

2. I assume also we will have a week or two of Beta Testing at the end before release so that those of us who added rooms early will also get a chance to test out the dungeon? :p

Agreed. We kind of did this informally last round, and it definitely helped.

Great! Got the file, did a quick check, got a crash with a torch, will look at it more in detail tonight and fix it, writing back if I have any questions. Added the key too, :). Thanks a lot!

Ok folks, I played through the Cube's room, quite fun...

I've fixed a bug or two and send some feedback (copied here just so that meanwhile others don't report the same things):
SpoilerShow
- when you switch the gates at 7, 26 with the button at 5, 29, then step on one of the plates and get teleported on the entrance side, how can you get back to the other side? The button must either be on the beginning side, or there must be another kind of reset mechanism.
- The "patience timer" should probably be a bit longer, as reading the text alone forces you to stay there for a while.
- The text says "The heads are on your side" (plural) but there's only one head...
- The torches that light up are cool, but why can't you pick them (magic spell)? It seems to hint to a secret or puzzle of some kind.
- You want the text at the start to say how many secrets there are? (Also, you said 1 on secret floor, but there are 2 on secret floor...)
So, now the file's heading to mahric, as he's #4, then to Ancylus, #7 and Ryeath_Greystalk, #10, who all have finished rooms, unless spiderfighter (#2) gets his script ready and wants to jump in between. How does that sound?

Another thing: we have 8 "extra" keys not needed to finish the dungeon, and which are there for bonus content. I felt inspired tonight, went ahead and did a complex bonus fire-themed puzzle in the central room of level 5 (editor). It's similar in spirit to Komag's hidden receptors puzzles in the Goromorg Temple levels of the Master Quest. The puzzle is based around a fireball launching daemon head, which requires one swirl key to turn on, and leads to three successive secrets holding the helm of valor, fireblade, a book of wisdom, a fire torc and ultimately, Zhandul's Orb.

Next people who get the file, feel free to test it and tell me if it's allright (I put a swirl key in front of the lock for testing). The fireballs flying across the hub room do look quite cool by the way.

Please add me to (end of) that list of, my room #9 is also completed, all I need to do is implement it to the main file, which should not take long once I get the file. (however I will not do it during 1st May celebrations here ;) )

Just to clarify: should a swirl key be the reward at every room for progressing?
