Hi there, Im stuck at level 8. Theres a door with the inscription "Only the persistent hunter will claim the key that unlocks the way". Ive been all over level 8 now, and dont have a key that fits. Ive tried putting things on the pressure plates in that corridor but they dont do anything. Tried running from one end to the other but that also has no effect. Has anyone any (further) clues to give me ? Many thanks

there is a key in a room right next to that text, use it to open the shooting gallery (hunter practice, be persistent), where you will eventually gain access to the real hunting grounds (herder battle) to find the key you need

The iron door alcove nearby needs something to help it open - try various items, one type of item will partially help - transmute that item into a different kind

Just started this little old mod and I have to tell you Komag, you are a genius. Your dream sequence stuff is better than the original, and the little touches you have thrown in here and there are great. :D

You really need to do your own mod once LoG 2 comes out. While faithful recreations are nice and all I want to see something original from you, and I know you'll be able to deliver. Hell, you can create my mod for me if you want. ;)

Id been down there, and actually had it in my party! Just not in he one I'd have normally used, probably given the herder traffic at the time! Thanks again.

How to open the 3rd door in the middle of the level? In the original game there is a secret button but I think here its more complex and dnt know how to do?

those three doors (N, E, S) open the same way as the original, but the mechanisms have been moved. For the N door there is a lever nearby, for the S door there is a small secret button nearby (but further away than the original game), and for the E door (after outer sanctum) there is the same two levers

Thanks for the last hint, Komag, that got me rolling again... but now it's me that's being rolled. To death.

The boss fight. I've removed the four items I inserted, but I still can't hurt him, meaning there is more to do. It keeps referring to a crystal below, which I haven't found yet. The only other place I've yet to go is the door marked "No Entrance" on Level 13.
A hint on what to do next?
