Indeed it is. I'm wondering if AH will choose to do some sort of pre-orders. I know quite a few folks that would buy it the day pre-orders open.

In the blog the author keeps referring to a DLC. What is that?

(and yeah, excited also, though I hope the system specs don't increase)

Excited? Hells yea!

...the only thing I would like to have for part 2 is more party slots (6) so we can pick up NPCs on our journey... oh, and some outside levels (city, wood, etc.) would be nice too... please? :D

Very good choice to go for Grimrok II. After all DLCs are not "compatible" with old school gaming!
Regarding the upcoming sequel, what I would like to see more is some cinematic sequences more compared to Grimrock I. I think that it should follow the steps of eye of the beholder 2 adding:
1) more cinematics
2)npcs that could join your team.

EOB 2 was for me the perfect dungeon crawler, and I think a landmark for the genre. OK I agree that dungeon master set the basis for the genre. I agree that Lands of Lore was a beauty. But to be honest EOB 2 is by far the best ever! An ageless game. I have played it 3 times (regarding my limited time this is too much for me), and I think I could play it again anytime without being bored.
So please almost human, give us a new LEGEND on par with the LEGEND OF DARKMOON

DLC stands for "Downloadable Content". It is basically the "modern" equivalent to an expansion. Some DLC a veritable expansions, some are only negligible stuff offered to make more money.

Thanks Flashsoul.

I'm just not up to speed on all these abreviations.
